As Spring blesses us with longer days and new life, we gather to honor the sacred act of tending to the garden of Self. This is a season of renewal, rooted presence, and planting seeds for what wants to grow.

Together, we will create a symbolic, soul-filled Medicine Doll as a sacred expression of your intention to nourish your inner world and mother yourself in the deepest, most meaningful ways.

This doll will hold your story, your season, and your sacred becoming. She is a reflection of your wisdom, your presence, and your devotion to self.

🌿 Why the Medicine Doll?

The Medicine Doll is an ancient and cross-cultural symbol of feminine power, protection, and transformation. She is a sacred ally, crafted with care, intention, and spirit. She carries prayers, dreams, healing, and deep inner knowing.

She lives as a companion to your journey. A symbolic presence on your altar, in your sacred space, or wherever you go to remember what matters.

For grown women, especially those entering or inhabiting midlife and into our crone years, the Medicine Doll becomes a powerful mirror of the Self. She reveals what is ready to be nurtured, reclaimed, or rebirthed.

This is not about artistic perfection or comparing your skills to others. This is about presence, intuition, and soulful creation.

🧶 What Is Needle Felting?

Needle felting is a magical, tactile process that uses soft wool and a special barbed needle to sculpt form, shape, and texture. It is grounding, meditative, and deeply intuitive.

As your hands engage with natural fibers, your spirit slows down. You enter the sacred rhythm of creating through a conversation between you and your inner wise one.

In this workshop, all materials are provided, including:

  • A curated selection of beautifully dyed wool

  • Felting needles and foam work surfaces

  • Embellishments and soulful touches to personalize your doll

No experience is needed. You’ll be guided every step of the way.

🌟 Meet Your Guide

Jerri Lynn Shelton is a seasoned guide in the sacred art of Medicine Dollmaking and the creator of SoulCraft Art, a deeply intuitive and spirit-led creative practice that weaves together ancestral wisdom, personal transformation, and feminine empowerment.

For the past 14 years, she has held workshops, circles, and retreats in the Portland area, where hundreds of women have found healing, inspiration, and reconnection through her offerings. With decades of experience as an artist, energy worker, and teacher of soul-centered creativity, Jerri Lynn brings warmth, clarity, and a deeply grounded presence to every gathering.

Recently returned to Central Oregon after 40 years away, she is thrilled to begin offering her work here in Bend and to start laying down new roots in this beautiful high desert landscape. This will be her first Medicine Doll workshop in Bend, and she looks forward to connecting with local women who are ready to dive into this joyful, meaningful, and transformational creative journey.

All core materials will be provided. You are also encouraged to bring small personal items to adorn your Medicine Doll such as: tokens, charms, beads, little nature gifts, fabric scraps, or other meaningful pieces from your own journey.

Upon registration, you’ll receive a welcome email with more details, suggestions for what to bring, and how to prepare for this sacred day.

Spaces are limited to keep the gathering intimate and meaningful.
