Corriedale is a truly all-purpose wool that is suitable for all kinds of projects.
Its ribbon is smooth and flat, the fibre is quite long and it’s pleasant to the touch. It felts and spins easily.
I often use wool tops for more intricate or detailed designs as well as creating hair styles on my Medicine Spirit Dolls. Occasionally I will dare to use Corriedale or Merino (silkier) tops for all over color, but usually find the carded wool batts easier and much faster to work with.
