How It Works
Commissioning a Medicine Doll is an intuitive and collaborative process. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Reserve Your Commission – Limited commissions are available for the holiday season, so be sure to secure your spot early as it takes a bit a time to make!
Step 2: Submit Your Vision – When you reserve your spot, you’ll see an order form with questions about the theme, colors, and personal intentions you’d like infused in your doll. This gives me a good guideline to begin the creation process. I may reach out to you in a follow up email or phone call to clarify and ask for additional details.
Step 3: The Creative Process Begins: With your guidance, I’ll begin creating your Medicine Doll. Each step of her creation is guided by intuition, nature, and spirit. I never know exactly how a doll will turn out; she emerges through the process, making her unique and magical every time.
Step 4: Approval Photo: Once your Medicine Doll is completed, I’ll send you an email with photographs of the finished doll. This allows you to see her before she’s shipped.
Step 5: Shipping to the Requested Address: After approval, your Medicine Doll will be carefully packaged and shipped to the address you provided at checkout.
The Creative Process
Creating each Medicine Doll is an intentional and sacred journey. Before beginning, I prepare a dedicated space and hold a personal ritual to honor the spirit of the doll and the energy of the recipient. In this sacred space, I intuitively tap into the intentions shared with me, allowing the spirit of healing, protection, or transformation to guide the creation process.
Each doll takes me several days to complete, as I work carefully and patiently, honoring each stage of the creation. I never know exactly how each Medicine Doll will turn out—she is always a unique, surprising creation. For this reason, I ask that you embrace an open-hearted approach, trusting the process and allowing me the freedom to let her unfold in her own way.
The result is a Medicine Doll infused with love, patience, and deep connection, bringing through unique qualities that speak to the keeper’s journey. This time-intensive, spirit-led process imbues each Medicine Doll with high value, making it much more than an art piece—it becomes a meaningful companion on one’s personal journey.
