Welcome to Sacred Spirit Weavers

Sacred Spirit Weavers (formerly Medicine Doll) is a growing community of women, teen girls and children (boys & girls) who are creatively connecting the bridge between spirit and the wise one that lives inside of us and is the true essence of who we are.

We are beautiful energy beings made of body, mind and spirit. Society demands an overwhelming amount of attention focused mainly on body and mind and we often find ourselves out of balance and quite disconnected from spirit. Yet, it is the guidance and wisdom of spirit that we need most to feel whole, confident and able to navigate through life, standing in our own truth and power. 

I first began creating the Medicine Doll about seven years ago.

At first, they were just for me and what I loved about this process was that I was able to take my own personal journeys and ceremoniously apply offerings of life teachings and gifts from spirit and the natural world onto an archetypal form that felt so inspirational and meaningful to me.

I discovered that my intentions and dreams were woven into the fibers of the wool and manifested into a beautiful, living, energetic creation, reminding me every day that I am powerful and have the ability to heal and protect myself and my environment. 

It wasn’t long before others began to see my Medicine Dolls and were asking to buy them and suddenly, my business took shape. From there, women started asking for classes so they could make their own and that is when the work began to go deep and has been growing ever since. I truly love sharing this work with others and am always so profoundly touched and moved by witnessing the emotions and reactions that women and young girls have when they first meet their Medicine Doll upon completion. 

They are always enchanted and surprised at how she presents herself, because she truly has a life of her own and becomes who She is.  Many, many women have come back after months or years to share incredible stories of change and healing and they know it has been manifested through their own intentional energy held so lovingly within the form of the doll.
